End of February and all of March Madness!

Hi Hi Hi!

Ok, so I know it’s taken me for-freakin’-ever to write an update. BUT here goes…

The holidays in Smithers never lets me down. Like every year there was caroling, indoor riding arena volleyball, and lots of food and great music. I even managed to play a few gigs.

Since returning I’ve been doing my best to enjoy the calm before the storm…but in a week here it’s gonna get very stormy indeed. With music. It’ll be a glorious musical storm.

Back to the Studio!
Next week we’ll be back in the studio with Ian finishing up our album. I’ve got a few more vocal tracks to lay down, then Shane and Greg have some harmonies. We’ll also be adding some funky overdubs. I’ve even got a horn section coming in for one song…Yeah. I’m pretty excited. But don’t worry – it’ll still sound like us. I’ll post lots of pictures on the Facebook and Instagram account.

Mondays in March @ The Sister
Our good friends from This City Live are stepping it up this year. They’re organizing an Indie Monday Residence series at the Sister for the next three months. It’ll feature monthly host band with a different singer-songwriter and band opening the night.

MPT is incredibly honoured to be the first host band in the series. Also, it means we’ll be playing on St. Patrick’s Day! Awwww yeah!!!

March 31st – MPT @ The Sister w/ Warren McGoey and Blind Cats
